Lavendra/Recovery Project Closing Reception & Zine Launch

To conclude their Session, Artist E. Jane will release two zines that will be produced and published during the project's developmental stage. The first zine will serve as a compilation of E. Jane's research and production notes from the first segment, while the second will sequence stills from the original music videos that make up the Lavendra (Recovery) Archive. Session This event is in conjunction with artist E. Jane's Lavendra (Recovery) project part of Recess’s program, Session, which invites artists to use Recess’s public platform to combine productive studio space with dynamic exhibition opportunities. Sessions remain open to the public from the first day of the artist's project through the last, encouraging sustained dialogue between artists and audiences.
