Musical Improv Jam

Musical improv is improv with the added conventions of musical theatre, meaning that your improvised scenes turn to songs, and you make up all the sung lyrics and choreography along with the scene. Whether you've never tried musical improv before, are a student studying musical improv, or are an established improviser who wants to try something new, this jam is a low-pressure FREE opportunity to do musical improv, joined by veterans of the form. Please note, this is a jam, NOT a class, meaning we won't be teaching the conventions of the form, we'll just be playing sets! You are totally welcome to jump in regardless, but if that feels scary, Musical Improv 101 is a great place to start learning about this form! Hosted by: Tara Copeland, Philip Labes, Greg Smith, Ashley Ward and Andrew Young No reservations needed - just show up and jam! -- All sales are final. The show starts at the time listed. If you are not at the theater more than 5 minutes before the start of the show, we may release your tickets to the waitlist. Lineup is subject to change.
