Show up at any time and you’ll find a range of players that can help match you with others who are at your level! If you're still learning some of the rules, excellent! Welcome to chess! You’ll find very friendly people here, feel free to ask for advice on opening moves and tactics! Bring a chess board if you can, and if you can't, no problem show up as you are. As always, show up at anytime and do whatever makes you feel comfortable: watch, play, learn, eat a chess piece (from your own set), just be sure to patronize the venue with a drink or snack purchase, and remember, the chess pieces are as scared of you as you are of them! This coffeeshop is such a comfortable space in which to relax and connect in, that it’s become a neighborhood hub, and many locals book the venue months in advance.
