Blaffer Art Museum Free Admission Thursday

Free Admission Thursday from 10am to 5pm at Blaffer Art Museum - see INFO below. In 1989, the Blaffer Advisory Board and the Universitys Board of Regents adopted the mission statement that defined Blaffers role as a bridge between the University and the general public. It was during this decade that the museum strengthened its commitment to exhibiting a wide range of art in a variety of media by both emerging and renowned artists from around the world, and established relationships with other organizations within the community with shared interests in the spirit of collaboration. In 2009, Blaffers Young Artist Apprenticeship Program (YAAP) won a Coming Up Taller Award from the Presidents Committee on the Arts and the Humanities. More Info below.
