Cook A Valentines Day Lunch For Seniors At Little Brothers

Help the seniors at Little Brothers: Friends of the Elderly celebrate Valentines Day by cooking a delicious meal made with love. There will be festive music, dancing, love and hugs. Volunteer will help prepare a 4 course meal to give the seniors a memorable party. No cooking experience required, all instructions and supplies will be provided on site, lead by a professional chef. Near CTA pink line and bus routes. Free street parking in the area. About the organization: Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly has been dedicated to relieving isolation and loneliness among Chicago’s elders since 1959. Women and men 70 and older who are aging alone have a family in Little Brothers. For over 60 years, we’ve been providing steadfast friendship to thousands of elders who no longer have friends and family to rely on. All of our programs and services are always offered at no cost, and our organization receives no government assistance.
