[hidden] Hey Everyone, As our "regular readers" know ,,,,we tend to travel a lot for our Midweeks (metaphorically speaking),,,, jet-setting from coast to coast on our culinary excursions. And back in September, we "ferreted out" one of Houston's more eclectic culinary destinations. For this excursion, our "travel package" included: *ATMOSPHERE - CASUAL & COMMUNAL, we can order at the bar *DRINKS - Heck Yeah ,,,,,how about BOOZY SLUSHES+BATCH COCKTAILS *FOOD - Oh let's say ,,,,,,,FAR EAST MEETS DOWN SOUTH (Yeah,,,,an Asian Smokehouse). LORO Asian was founded in 2018 by the owners of Franklin Barbecue and Uchi, to provide the ultimate fusion experience by merging their loves of both Asian and Texas cuisine. Housed in what used to be an old church, LORO provides an eclectic menu, covering the gamut from noodles, to salads, to fried chicken and cheddar burgers.
