Please join us for a free walking tour of the downtown Los Angeles area. We will meet in Chinatown, at ABC Seafood Restaurant, on the corner of Ord Street and New High Street. From Chinatown, we'll walk to Los Angeles' oldest street (Olvera Street), Little Tokyo, and Disney Concert Hall, all the while seeing many interesting sites and learning some of the history of this fascinating city. We'll finish at the Los Angeles Cathedral, and then everyone is welcome to eat lunch at Grand Central Market. *You can leave the tour anytime you want, so you do not have to eat with us. Remember to bring a hat and wear comfortable shoes! Native English speakers are welcome to tag along, but please note that this is an opportunity for members to practice their English. If you want to practice another language, you can offer to exchange information with a member and meet at a later date. *Please try to arrive by 8:45 because we will be starting at exactly 9am! If you are late, message me. And please RSVP! If you have to cancel, that's okay, but please cancel your RSVP. If you're driving, there are many parking lots in the area (especially on Broadway) that only charge $5 for the entire day.* Try to bring enough cash to pay for parking (if you need it), food, and a $1 train ticket to ride Angel's Flight, the world's shortest railway! If you have any questions, please contact me anytime. See you soon! More Info below.
