Buena Park Ugly Sweater Holiday Bar Crawl 2023

Dust off those ugly sweaters and get ready for Buena Park's third annual Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl on Saturday, December 9!!! Never did this particular bar crawl before but let's give it try as it looks fun! This is a joint event with several other meetup groups, so it is multi-group event! Let's come on out and help support the local neighborhood bars and those who work at them! MAKE SURE TO WEAR THOSE UGLY X-MAS SWEATERS OR ANY GOOFY HOLIDAY GEAR TO GET IN THE SPIRIT! There will be drink specials at all participating bars, holiday cocktails, prizes for the ugliest sweaters, and the opportunity to get to know your neighbors and enjoy a bevvy (or a few) with them! ?? WHAT'S INCLUDED: Your $10 ticket includes a wristband that gets you a free welcome drink at check-in (Mimosa or Bloody Mary), drink specials at all participating bars, giveaways for the ugliest sweaters, and the very best of company - your neighbors!!! CHECK-IN: Check-in will run from 11:00am - 12:00pm at the former Human Citizen Workplace building located at 4101 N Broadway. Show your ID to check in and receive your free welcome drink during this time. WHERE: The bar crawl will run through Buena Park and our bordering neighborhood bars. You will be provided a bar crawl map at check-in (or a digital version if you prefer to go paperless)! 12:00pm - 7:00pm: Bar crawl locations in no particular order: Wrigleyville North Bar, Drink & Ink, The Reservoir, Michael's Pizzeria, The Stockroom @ GNS Market, Holiday Club, The Bar on Buena, Driftwood, The Bar @ XMarket, GoodTimes Brewery. Drink specials at these bars will end at 7pm. BAR CRAWL ROUTE: There is no fixed bar crawl route. It's up to you to plan your own route within the 7-hour bar crawl window based on the map you will be given. This is to ensure we're not overwhelming any one bar with too many people at once. BAR CRAWL IS ABOUT 1.5 MILES & WILL NOT END WHERE WE START SO KEEP IN MIND IF DRIVING AS WILL HAVE TO WALK A FEW BLOCKS BACK TO YOUR CAR. START AT 4101 N Broadway, & END AT 4443 N Broadway, SO ABOUT 4 BLOCK WALK BACK. MY PROPOSED BAR CRAWL ROUTE: 4101 N Broadway - CHECK IN/START Michael's Original Pizzeria & Tavern, 4091 N Broadway GNS Foods, 4092 N Broadway Holiday Club, 4000 N Sheridan Rd The Bar on Buena, 910 W Buena Ave The Reservoir, 844 W Montrose Ave XMarket Food Hall, 804 W Montrose Ave Driftwood, 1021 W Montrose Ave Drink and Ink, 4443 N Broadway I think we will skip a few of the bars listed due to distance & time. Event goes until 7 pm but I think after 5 hours of the crawl, it will be enough. We can always switch a location, add a spot or remove one as time/space allows. Any place too crowded, we move onto the next. BRING CASH as it will make it easier & quicker to settle up bills especially where separate checks are not allowed! DRINK SPECIALS: All participating bars will be running drink specials for the crawl but you are welcome to purchase from their regular drink menu, too! The map you will receive at check-in will specify all the drink specials being offered! WRISTBANDS: You MUST wear your wristband during the crawl to gain access to all drink specials. No wristband, no drink specials. You will be provided a wristband at check-in. PURPOSE: To support small businesses within our neighborhood and foster a sense of community amongst our Buena Park neighbors. Plus, you deserve to let your hair down and have a bit of holiday fun!
