The Good Food Vendor Fair will connect local food producers to restaurants, colleges, hospitals, schools, and other community food access sites that are looking to support a more local, equitable, and sustainable food system. All are welcome to join this harvest-time celebration of those growing and raising food across Chicago and the surrounding region. Build new relationships with food growers and businesses, taste sample products, and learn more about the Good Food Purchasing Program (GFPP) goals for community food access sites. Over 30 vendors ranging from urban farms, catering companies, specialty food producers, to regional food hubs and much more— will host booths at the event. Featured businesses will highlight products that align with the Good Food Purchasing Program’s Standards in Local Economies, Environmental Sustainability, Community Health & Nutrition, Valued Workforce, and Animal Welfare.
