Opening Reception For Moody Project Wall: Gabriel Martinez

Join Gabriel Martinez, artist and fellow at Rice's Center for Engaged Research and Collaborative Learning, for the opening of the latest installation in the Moody Project Wall series! Titled Resolution , the painted wall mural is based on an image from the Aztec manuscript Codex Borgia (ca. 1500). Created in collaboration with Rice students and the community, in honor of Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, Martinez's collaborative work explores questions of ownership and circulation related to this cultural object.
