This is a SCHOOL OF FILM AND TELEVISION Tour. Please check with the Undergraduate or Graduate Admission Office for Campus Tours. The LMU School of Film and Television is committed to preparing students for their creative and professional lives. Through their course work, creative projects, and internships, students will learn the art and craft of communicating ideas through images, sound and writing for the screen. They will also gain an appreciation for the history of these art forms and develop their ability to critically analyze these works. We aim for that delicate balance between theory, technology and the creative impulse – where the balance is always heavily weighted toward the creative and human. During your tour of LMU SFTV, you will get a behind the scenes look at our first rate facilities which includes the Howard Fitzpatrick Pavilion, containing 24,000 square feet of new instructional spaces and labs, along with our new state-of-the-art, 86-seat Broccoli Theater. Adjacent is the Communication Arts Building that contains the 126-seat Mayer Theater, film and tv sound stages, animation labs and picture and sound editing suites. PLEASE NOTE: Rooms, stages and suites may be in use during tours - guests on tours may not be able to go into some rooms. Reservations are required for all tours, as space and dates are limited. Check-in for the tours is in the lobby of the Communication Arts Bldg.
