Our Open House is taking place at our Imagination House, located in West Englewood. Come check out our program space, meet our program partners and dynamic team members, and learn about our winter programs. On-site registration for Imagination Explorers: After School Program, Progressionista Book Club, B.E.A.R.S. Book Club, our iTribe Volunteer Program and Kids On The Move Summer Camp 2023 will be available. We will also provide tours of the amazing Peace Campus upon request and weather permitting. All event attendees will have their temperature checked upon entry, must wear a mask, and practice social distancing when appropriate. We spark a love of learning through academic support and fun enrichments that prepare them for their personal and professional growth. Participants also engage in daily themed activities that include STEAM, environmental awareness, and healthy living. During this key development time, youth are encouraged to live to their full potential and find their voice. Progressionista Book Club based in Englewood exposes Chicago girls ages 8-12, to the self-discovering power of reading for leisure while building a storybook sisterhood. Our monthly book club meetings feature diverse women professionals and interactive career activities related to the next fictional read. Our speakers -- or Progressionistas -- engage participants by sharing intimate stories about their careers and relating them to the group’s next book. Every meeting creates a girl power experience that further entices participants to read over the next month. B.E.A.R.S. Book Club based in Englewood exposes Chicago boys ages 8-12, to the self-discovering power of reading for leisure while building a storybook brotherhood. Our monthly book club meetings feature diverse men professionals and interactive career activities related to the next fictional read. Our speakers engage participants by sharing intimate stories about their careers and relating them to the group’s next book.
