Blinks 1-Day Mini Game Jam 2023

Welcome to the first Blinks mini game jam hosted by Move38 at LaGuardia Community College in NYC. This mini-jam is special because it is a 1-day, in-person event, and we’ll be providing Blinks developer kits on-site. WHAT IS BLINKS? Blinks is an open-source physical-digital hybrid game system consisting of “smart” hexagonal tiles that respond to touch, communicate with each other, and think for themselves. Blinks is modular and distributed allowing for endless expansion and arrangements. Blinks is a great way to try your hand at something different. SCHEDULE: 8:30am - Game Makers Breakfast 9:00am - Kickoff (+ theme reveal) 10:00am - Tutorial 1:00pm - Lunch 7:00pm - Demo & Present 8:30pm - Awards Ceremony Note: You are allowed to participate in this mini-jam in addition to another GGJ site if you are looking to try your hand at something new but already have a site or team you are committed to.
