2023 Reparations United Mayoral Candidate Forum

Reparations United Mayoral Candidate Forum hosted by Reparations United, the Conrad Worrill Community Reparations Commission and Malcolm X College - Student Government COME JOIN US at Malcolm X College Auditorium, 1900 W Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL 60612 on February 2, 2023, at 2:00 pm as the Conrad Worrill Community Reparations Commission, Reparations United and MXC Student Government co-host a forum centered around Descendants of enslaved Africans topics and Reparations for the City of Chicago Mayoral Candidates. The purpose of this community meeting is to allow the candidates equal opportunity to answer questions pertaining to current policies, as well as to showcase their knowledge and commitment to fostering the continual movement towards reparations for descendants of enslaved African. This forum will help kick off the 1st day of Black history month at Malcolm X College. Special Invited Guest: Rev. Jesse Jackson, Ald. Robin Rue Simmons, State Senator Emil Jones (Former President), and more. Questions for the candidates are encouraged. Community Members, Leaders and Students are encouraged to submit questions surrounding their interest, concerns. The staff of the organizers will select the best questions and then ask the candidates for their response during the forum.
