Soup Screenings Presents: Nukhufest 2022

The nukhu foundation serves as an advocate for and provides fiscal and educational support to emerging artists and filmmakers, including grants, mentorships, and job training. nukhufest is an annual event for filmmakers and fans that culminates around the selection of the Best Nuvee film. Viewers like you help decide the winner of the year by voting at nukhu.com. Top 10 finalists will be announced on September 24th. The Nuvee that receives the most votes by 8pm EST on September 30th is declared the 2022 Best Nuvee and winner of a $3,000 development-to-distribution grant. Filmmakers are encouraged to submit their films by September 17th. Those who subscribe to Chinatown Soup can receive 10% off of their submission by using code: SOUP10. The 2022 Best Nuvee award will be presented at the nukhuball award ceremony on September 30th from 7- 9pm EST. Visit [hidden] to watch the semi-finalists. Come by to take a selfie in front of the Wall of Finalists and attend evening screenings of the Top 10 Nuvees. Can't make it to Chinatown? Visit Times Square on October 1st at 2pm to see The Top 10 Nuvees featured on the Broadway Plaza Jumbotron between 42nd and 43rd Streets. Workshops Attend daily workshops taught by nukhu members about film distribution, crafting your story, freelancing, staffing your next film production, and customer service. Network nukhu members are comprised of budding artists and industry professionals from all over the world.
