standup comedy open mic come watch comics working out material or sign up to perform yourself! Thursdays 6 pm- 7:40 pm signups at 5:45 PM / First come first served 5 min setshosted by George Chen (extra minute if you show your library card) NO MIC JULY 4th! *FIRST THURSDAYS give preference to female comics. We often have snacks (no guarantees, first come-first served) FAQs Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event? 18+over (under 18 need to be accompanied by parent or guardian) What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? We have free parking! The lot entrance is on Alvarado - [hidden] Accessible by the 2 bus on Sunset. Can I swear during the mic? Yes, that's why we made it 18+over. Are any topics of behaviors off limits at the mic? You can say whatever you want during your 5 mintes. However, we don't want anyone to feel physically unsafe.
