Glass Half Full : Jonjo Elliott @ Artplex Gallery

Meet British artist Jonjo Elliott, lounge in the immersive installation, and enjoy the refreshments at this bright, upbeat opening! Glass Half Full, Artplex Gallery’s inaugural solo exhibition by Jonjo Elliott, explores inner paradise through brightly colored, large scale still life paintings. Expanding on the work he began in 2018, Jonjo will be transforming the gallery’s main room with a collection evoking the idyllic island of Crete. Jonjo has always claimed himself to be a “glass half full” kind of person and his artworks project such joy. His paintings are filled with exciting color in an attempt to brighten the world around him. “I have a knack of being happy most of the time and I want to share this with people that see my work. I want the works to offer an escape; somewhere viewers can lose themselves for a while amongst the colors.” Join Artplex Gallery as we welcome British artist Jonjo Elliott to Los Angeles on July 18, 2019 at 6:00pm. Right at home in West Hollywood and within immediate proximity to its sister gallery, Artplex Gallery is an expansive modern space with an intimate feel that allows for front-and-center focus on each artist.
