The Public: An Advance Screening And Discussion

A new feature film by Emilio Estevez, The Public, tackles one of the most challenging issues confronting communities today by examining homelessness and the valuable role that libraries play in meeting community needs. Following the free screening, KNBC reporter Beverly White will moderate a conversation with Estevez, the director, writer and star of The Public. As all Los Angeles Public Library programs are free of charge, it is our policy to overbook. In the case of a FULL program, your free reservation may not guarantee admission. We recommend arriving early. Space permitting, unclaimed reservations will be released to standby patrons at approximately fifteen minutes before the event starts. More Info below.
